    he was also part of famous setagaya school judo team (members included takimoto,oyama shungo and yoshida yoshiyuki)

    he also beat fedor (yes, THE fedor) in russian judo open in 1998 (won bronze)

    he sadly passed away in 2006, one yr after fighting in rickson's budo challenge... due to AMI (acute myocardial infarction)
