A middleweight bout between Jeremy Horn (80-18-5 MMA, 6-6 UFC) and Rousimar Palhares (8-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC), and a light-heavyweight fight between Tomasz Drwal (14-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and UFC newcomer Ivan Serati (10-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) have both been signed for UFC 93.

The event takes place Jan. 17 at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, and features a main event between Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson.

Warrior Promotions Fighter Management alerted MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) of the Drwal-Serati fight, and a source close to Palhares confirmed his bout with Horn.

Despite his current two-fight losing streak (which previously hadn't happened since 2001), Horn gets another shot in the UFC. He most recently suffered submission losses via guillotine to Nate Marquardt and Dean Lister following his return to the organization. After a stretch of 13 victories in 15 fights (including a first-round TKO loss in a title fight with Chuck Liddell at UFC 54), Horn has now lost four of his past six fights.

His opponent, Palhares, fought throughout Brazil before earning his ticket to the UFC earlier this year. He defeated Ivan Salaverry with a first-round submission during his UFC debut at UFC 84, but his five-fight win streak was snapped in September with a unanimous-decision loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 88.

Drwal, meanwhile, returns to the cage for the first time since his UFC debut in September 2007, when he suffered a second-round TKO to Thiago Silva. The loss snapped a 13-fight win streak that the Polish fighter accumulated in a host of European organizations.

Serati, a former pro boxer, made an explosive start to his MMA career by stopping his first five opponents with strikes. Not a single opponent survived more than 60 seconds. However in his sixth career bout, at an April 2007 Cage Rage event, Serati suffered his first loss -- a first-round TKO to former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort. He's since rebounded for four consecutive victories.
